Made in Offaly Pop Up shop is celebrating its’ fifth year in business. The application date has been extended until Thursday 22nd of October.  Made in Offaly is an exciting and popular creative space where you can experience local handmade craft, beautiful art and the finest artisan foods.

Made in Offaly pop up shop is calling on all interested parties in the areas of Arts, Crafts, Designers and Food Merchants to submit expressions of interest to rent a Trader’s unit space for the Made in Offaly Pop Up Shop 2015 Christmas Market.

The aim of the project is to showcase the very best of Offaly craft, art and food just in time for Christmas shopping. The shop will reopen again this November at the old “Kilroys” store in Tullamore from 10th November to 24th December.

The Made in Offaly pop-up shop gives a unique opportunity for creative’s to sell their products in the County town. Customers will be able to see firsthand the quality and diversity of local craft and have an opportunity to buy locally made products. Furthermore, by occupying a vacant retail premises, the pop-up shop gives a much needed boost to the main shopping area in the town and will attract visitors to the town

In this year’s Made in Offaly POP-UP Shop there will also an opportunity for Emerging Makers to participate in the market this will include early stage start-ups, new businesses and students.

Another added feature in 2015 will also provide the opportunity for demonstrations or exhibitions to be held.  i.e woodturning, craft, art, food, design, poetry reading etc.

Summary Info / Terms

The Offaly Pop-Up Shop will run from the 10th November until 24rd December.

Preference will be given to high quality and good value local art, handmade craft, design & food marketers suitable for a Christmas Market product offering.

Pricing and Commission:

The cost to successful participants is 30% commission of sales –this is better than other retail scenarios and much fairer than trade fairs where it is an upfront cost, irrespective of whether you sell or not.

Timelines:

Closing date for Applications is on Thursday 22th October.
